Madeira Yearly Events

Madeira Yearly events guide book is an annual publication released by Madeira Promotion Bureau with its 1st edition in 2018. This guide was created in order to promote both traditional and local events of the archipelago.

We have designed, created and developed this guide from scratch, where illustration was the key visual element used to add consistency and playfulness along the 194 pages featuring a wide variety of events (food, music, tradition, sports, adventure, etc.).

Also, this set of illustrations, made in collaboration with Joana Dionísio Pereira (graphic designer and illustrator), were also key to make the layout “breathable”, giving the amount of photos used to present most of the events. A playful yet really contemporary unique way to represent a group of events in which its essence was not as easy to convey throughout photography.
